The origin of the name “Inkuru ya 30” The Inyamibwa’s Concert

Inkuru ya 30 concert has a great meaning connected with the history of Rwanda and Rwandans who have been free for 30 years.
On March 18, 2024, When the Itorero Inyamibwa AERG held an interview with the media, the management explained the reasons for the show called “Inkuru ya 30”, scheduled to be held at the BK Arena, on March 23, 2024.
The head of the Itorero Inyamibwa AERG, Rusagara Rodrigue said that Rwandans had been in exile for 30 years and have been preparing to liberate their country, and now it has been another 30 years since Rwanda and Rwandans have been freed.

“from 1959-1989, it was 30 years ago, Rwandans were in exile, until 1990, the RPF Inkotanyi started the liberation struggle that ended in 1994 and now we are in 2024, 30 years ago that happened and Rwandans liberated themselves”. Rodrigue Rusagara said.
So the reason we decided to do this 30th story shows that those years will never come similar again.
This show will include a performance, dance, where Itorero Inyamibwa AERG will dance different dances but now there will be a connection with the history, the time to show where country has reach and Another small part is for historical.

Itorero Inyamibwa AERG was founded in 1998, from Butare District, in the former University of Rwanda. The founders wanted to create a group to help AERG Members to overcome their loneliness
Rusagara Rodrigue went on to say that the purpose of Inyamibwa was to make the members grow out of isolation, because they not only danced but also played games and drama.
Rodrigue Rusagara concluded by saying that they organized this show to celebrate 30 years since the liberation of Rwanda and to celebrate what the good leadership has brought to Rwandans.
