EPRN Training Calendar for 2020
About EPRN:
Economic Policy Research Network (EPRN ) is an equal opportunity economic policy research platform in Rwanda bringing together key economic management institutions, individuals and organisations active in economic policy research and analysis to create a pool community for economic policy researchers through organising trainings on quantitative research methods, research coaching and mentorship, work place placements, learning tours and joint research projects to support provide evidence for economic policy formulation and policy research development. EPRN therefore responds to economic policy gaps created mainly by lack of quality and informative research and the challenge of human capacity in terms of limited numbers of economic researchers and active involvement.
Membership is open to researchers, academicians, policy makers in the government institutions, private sector members and development partners.

Members: 40,000 Rwf per course Non-members: 100,000 Rwf |
Members: 600,000 Rwf tax inclusive per day (Institution taking care of all logistics). Non Members: 1,000,000 Rwf tax inclusive per day (Institution taking care of all logistics). NOTE: Number of participants per class should not be more than 15. Specific agreement will be concluded. EPRN is open to negotiations with interested institutions. The charges for the software will be charged depending on the number of the users per institution |
- In addition to the list of courses highlighted here above, EPRN organizes tailor-made training programs for institutions upon demand depending on their areas of interest.
- These trainings are organized through the support of GIZ Rwanda, the University of Rwanda/CBE and other partners.
Application process
Interested candidates (individuals OR institutions) are encouraged to pay the training fees through the following bank details:
- Bank Account: 000400694575007 RWF (Bank of Kigali)
- Title of the Account: Economic Policy Research Network
Scan the bank slip and send it to: info@eprnrwanda.org and copy to coordinator@eprnrwanda.org OR bring the hard copy of the bank slip to the EPRN office located at University of Rwanda Headquarters (former SFB) Gikondo.
Certificate
- EPRN issues completion certificates to participants who successfully attend the course and pass the course test.
- At the end of the course, the trainer will deliver a test, and ONLY participants to pass the course with at least 60% will get the certificate.
- Those failing to have 60% of the test will be encouraged to attend a similar training-same topic (free of charge).
