Infinix Launches the New Hot 60 Pro Series Phones

nfinix, which has operated in Rwanda and over 40 countries for the past decade, unveiled its new Hot 60 series—particularly the Hot 60 Pro+—during a July 24, 2025 evening event at M Hotel. Attendees included MTN representatives, media personnel, social media influencers, and other guests.

The Hot 60 Pro+ offers unique innovations in Rwanda and globally, such as being able to make calls over Bluetooth without airtime, within a range of up to 1.5 km.

The phone is extraordinarily sleek, with a thickness of just 5.95 mm—making it the thinnest and lightest model in its class. Its battery lasts up to two days on a charge, and the camera quality benefits from a partnership with Sony.

Peter Shi, Infinix’s CEO, emphasized that their goal is customer delight through superior-quality products. MTN’s Edwin Vita confirmed a partnership that includes flexible payment plans and bundled packages: buyers receive 15 GB of data and 300 calling minutes at launch. Price tiers in Rwanda are:

  • Hot 60 Pro+ – 337,999 RWF
  • Hot 60 Pro – 273,999 RWF
  • Hot 60i – 184,999 RWF
